EST. in 1998 by company owner and driver Marcello Canitano, SilverHorse Racing was originally ‘just’ a race team racing in the southeastern United States at tracks such as Daytona, Sebring, Road Atlanta, and more. Finding his beginnings behind the wheel of a Datsun 510 in 1991, Marcello quickly fell in love with the sport of road racing. This love for motorsports would eventually lead to the creation of Silverhorse Racing in 2003, providing quality products made right here in the USA for customers around the world. Currently Marcello also does driver training and coaching on select weekemds when not racing and our team races in the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) Spec Miata class, measuring our success with the same effort and precision we put into all of our products.
Starting in 2021 Alyssa Canitano (Marcello’s Daughter) has been on track and improving her skills rapidly. With plenty of go-fast ambition, she is starting to make waves within the sport. Ever since she was young she always aspired to be behind the wheel seeking the adrenaline rush of controlling a car on the edge of its limits, just like her father. Her initial driver training and schooling requirements complete, Alyssa is now on track for a great 2024 season in the SEDIV!
